Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Bailmacsix'
Boasting vibrant blue to pink blooms atop upright stems and dark green leaves AND reblooming 2-4 weeks sooner than similar hydrangea varieties, this hydrangea is sure to be the star of your landscape or garden.
Blooming early in the summer season, this heat-resistant and frost-proof hydrangea will give the warmth of summer to your garden with lovely blooms up until Thanksgiving.
Like many Bigleaf Hydrangeas, the Pop Star can change color based on the acidity of the soil. If you want pink blooms, add lime to raise the pH of the soil and if you want blue blooms, add sulfur to lower the pH of the soil.
Ideally, plant in a location with morning sun and afternoon shade. Avoid heavily shaded spots and allow plenty of space to grow.
