Common Names: Carolina Yellow Jessamine; Carolina Jasmine; False Jasmine
This native twining vine has sweetly scented, canary-yellow flowers that bloom April to May and glossy evergreen foliage. The evergreen foliage generally turns bronze in winter. This beauty provides shelter for songbirds and nectar/pollen for pollinators.
It is well suited for growing in vertical spaces like trellises, arbors, fences, planters, porch columns, and screens.
