While not a true fern, this variety of asparagus is valued for its shiny green, arching stems and airy foliage that give a soft, fluffy appearance. Makes for a great filler plant – let them trail from hanging baskets, add them to beds and borders or simply enjoy them as houseplants.
Indoors or out, asparagus fern care is easy. Outdoors, plant in part shade. Indoors, place in bright, indirect light. Growth is faster in brighter light. Keep soil moist, and water when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Warmer, humid air, and daily misting will help it thrive.
