Mondo Grass is a low-growing, grass-like evergreen groundcover with arching, dark green foliage that forms dense clumps. It’s ideal for edging, filling in around stepping stones, or creating a lush, low-maintenance carpet in shaded garden areas.

Sun Requirements: Part shade to full shade (tolerates full sun with adequate moisture)
Water Requirements: Moderate; prefers moist, well-drained soil
Growth Rate: Slow to moderate
Mature Size: 6–10 inches tall, spreading 12–18 inches wide
Soil Preference: Moist, well-drained soil; tolerant of a range of conditions
Landscape Use: Groundcover, edging, between pavers, shade gardens, erosion control
Maintenance: Very low maintenance; trim back in early spring to refresh foliage if needed
