Soft Caress is everything we love about Mahonia, without the sharp, thorny leaves! It's known for it's blue-green, fern like foliage, fragrant yellow flowers, and eye-catching fruit.
Produces spikes of upright yellow blooms (irresistible to bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators) which are gradually replaced by clusters of blue, berry-like fruits (irresistible to birds).
This multi-stemmed evergreen shrub has a ground-hugging habit of growth and will grow 3ft tall by 4ft wide. Compact enough for containers, yet large enough for foundations or borders, these tough plants provide fabulous texture to the garden. Thrives in partial to full shade, making it an ideal choice for adding color and interest to shady areas of the garden.
