This lush, fast-growing houseplant is named for the plantlets it produces on long arching stems that dangle like baby spiders. AND these baby spiders are easy to propagate!
The spider plant is unfussy and low maintenance.
The curly variegated foliage enjoys bright indirect light, but can manage in low light. Also does well in fluorescent lighting, making a great office or bathroom plant.
Soak your spider plant well and generously, allowing excess water to escape through the bottom drain holes. Allow the top quarter of the soil to slightly dry out before watering again. Well-draining soil is a must for this plant.
